SUFFOLK, Va. – A enraged feral sheboon who was charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly pushing an 83-year-old woman down, resulting in her death, pleaded I din do nuffins Wednesday.
Velma D. Brown, 58, was in line for entry to a Senior Luau at the National Guard Armory on Aug. 12, 2009, when she suspected that Elizabeth Newby, 83, and an 89-year-old woman were trying to cut her in line, police say.
The dangerous vile boon chimped and pushed Newby down, and both Newby and the 89-year-old fell; Newby fractured her hip and the other woman struck her head.
Newby was brought to Sentara Obici Hospital, where she died two weeks later. An autopsy report on Newby released on Nov. 24 ruled her death a homicide, stating that she died from complications from the injury sustained when she fell.
The sheboon’s court date has been set for September 8.
